Marlen Cibrian started working as an intern at APCD in September 2010. She started working as a full-time officer in January 2011. Her duties consist of taking care of payables, receivables, payroll, annual audit reports and other office duties. In 2010 Marlen completed training in Bookkeeping at the College of the Sequoias (C.O.S.). One of her instructors in C.O.S. recommended joining APCD as there was an advertisement for an accounting clerk position. Marlen is originally from Nuevo Leon, Mexico and she graduated from Instituto Hidalgo in Business/Accounting. Marlen worked for five years helping in an accounting department for a corporation before started working in the U.S. in 1989. She started learning English while working in different seasonal jobs in the U.S. She received her diploma from Corcoran High School in 1997 and in 2005 she graduated from San Joaquin Valley College in Business Administration. On her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family conversating with them over the phone or in-person.
